“ ALTEC84 CHARITABLE TRUST” founded on Friday, 31st July 2009 on the auspicious day of "Varalakshmi Navami", in the Tamil month of AADI 15th.

The “ ALTEC84 CHARITABLE TRUST” is nothing but a great sea of love, formed by endless flow from many loving hearts of Thiagarajar College of Engineering -1984 Batch Students.

The “ ALTEC84 CHARITABLE TRUST ” was started with the motive to bring the old students of the Thiagarajar College of Engineering in any manner & to serve the Student community, either by providing physical, materialistic, moral or monetary help.

The “ ALTEC84 CHARITABLE TRUST “ will concentrate on giving a helping hand to the student community irrespective of rich or poor, caste or creed. “ ALTEC84 CHARITABLE TRUST “ is the external supporting body which will try to ease out the difficulties which are being faced by the student community, it will also try to bridge the gap between the management and the students & teaching staff. It aims to amalgamate and present to the upcoming student community the progressive ideas and a view of the successful alumni's to regulate the student minds in choosing a better path of life.
